In the 1960s, the sports car line collectively known as GT40 became a 20th century racing icon. It was the fastest sports racing car of its day — the first to exceed 200 mph on the Mulsanne straight at Le Mans. Soon the legend will reach a new echelon with production of the Ford GT in 2004.
